    Semi-flexible pavement is a pavement combining both of flexibility and rigidity, which asphalt pavement and cement concrete pavement have respectively. The characteristics of the semi-flexible pavement are brought by filling the air voids from 22 – 28% of the asphalt pavement by special cement milk. That cement milk can enhance stiffness, load bearing ability, oil resistance, and heat resistance of the asphalt pavement. And, the characteristics of the semi-flexible pavement are as follows:

    • The semi-flexible pavement can enhance the resistance to plastic deformation.
    • The semi-flexible pavement can enhance the oil-resistance and the heat-resistance.
    • By coloration of the cement milk, asphalt pavement can be easily changed into color pavement.

    The semi-flexible pavement has been constructed at the various places, like bus stops, tollgates of the expressway, and the site of factory.

    Hyper-Primer được dùng làm lớp dính bám cho mặt cầu thép và mặt cầu Bê tông xi măng
    thay cho lớp dính bám thông thường. Ngoài ra Hyper-Primer có khảh năng chống thấm vì vậy
    với những công trình đã sử dụng Hyper primer thì công cần thi công lớp chống thấm nữa.

    Tại Nhật Bản, mặt đường Bê tông nhựa rỗng thoát nước đã được áp dụng trên đường cao tốc và Quốc lộ từ năm 1999, và hiện nay hầu hết đều áp dụng công nghệ này

    Từ năm 2012, Công ty Taiyu kensetsu Co.,Ltd đã bắt đầu hợp tác với các chuyên gia tại Việt Nam nghiên cứu, thử nghiệm trong phòng, đến năm 2014 được sự cho phép của bộ GTVT mặt đường Bê tông nhựa rỗng thoát nước – TPS đã được thi công thử nghiệm tại cao tốc CẦU GIẼ – NINH BÌNH.

    Dự án đầu tiên áp dụng công nghệ này là cao tốc PHÁP VÂN – CẦU GIẼ với các thông tin như sau
